Students
In the app or at app.manhajai.com, open your profile, then Account, then “Delete my account”. Your account closes straight away and is permanently deleted after 30 days. Until then nothing is removed: sign in again and tap “Keep my account” to cancel. Any linked parent is told about the request.
Parents
In the app or at app.manhajai.com, open Settings, then “Delete my account”. A parent account is deleted at once. Your children’s accounts are not deleted — only the links to them are removed.
A linked parent can also close a child’s account: open the child, then Privacy, then “Close account”. The same 30 days apply, and the child’s data can be downloaded first.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@manhajai.com with the username of the account and the phone number registered on it. We confirm the request with that number on WhatsApp and then delete the account.
What is deleted
The account and everything in it: profile and photo, enrolment, test and practice answers, notes, highlights, drawings and voice notes, saved pages, reading positions, conversations with USTAD, the safety record of those conversations, study time, and the phone number.
What is kept
A record that the deletion happened (when, and who asked), with no name, username or content. Records of what AI services cost are kept with the link to the account removed. Audio and explanations made from book pages are shared by every student and are kept, but contain nothing about you.
